This is an exciting opportunity to join our operational team at Corkfield, Birmingham as a Maintenance Technician.

The role of Maintenance Technician is an integral member of the team, you will be responsible for all maintenance tasks on site and to deliver excellent customer service to our residents, you will be friendly and approachable with a can do attitude. 

You will be responsible for all technical and mechanical work that ensures the inside and external buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas of the community, meets standards for cleanliness, appearance, safety, and overall functionality by performing maintenance-related tasks. Primary responsibilities include maintenance of the community, including overall inspections, repairs, and general maintenance of ready apartments and other interior/exterior areas.

 If you’re ready to be our next Native, you’ll probably:

  • Complete assigned work orders generated from resident requests for service, as well as routine upkeep on the property by diagnosing the source or cause of the defect or problem, and making repairs in accordance with established policies, procedures and safety standards.
  • Be proficiency in executing exceptional customer service within a customer facing role.
  • Have excellent written and spoken English.
  • Complete documentation and other paperwork timely and accurately so that service requests can be appropriately documented and tracked.
  • Have excellent relationship building skills, both with entirely new and long term residents and team members.
  • Be an efficient and organised individual with excellent communication skills and has a sensitive, professional and well-mannered nature.
  • Be able to work exceptionally well within a team dynamic and contributes to an established open culture.
  • Have the ability to follow company policies and procedures
