This is an exciting opportunity to join our operational team at Bendix / Poplin, Manchester as a General Manager.
We are looking for a strong and vibrant leader to lead the onsite teams, ensuring excellence across all departments including Customer Service, Facilities Management, Health & Safety and Leasing.
You will be responsible for managing the residential operating budget and to ensure our team are delivering a world class customer experience throughout all touchpoints. You will work closely with the Regional Head of Operations to deliver business process improvements and build operational excellence across the site.
You will have the energy and interpersonal skills needed to create a thriving community by building relationships, and a keen eye for detail, always maintaining the asset to the highest quality.
You will also be responsible for the day to day management of our communities commercial tenants, building relationships, partnering with events, and driving engagement across the community to ensure we deliver our mission to create sustainable communities with soul.
If you’re ready to be our next Native, you’ll probably
- Have experience within BTR, property sector, hospitality or leisure industries at a General Manager level.
- Have a passion for customer service and ensuring excellence.
- Able to demonstrate of the challenges and nuances of running a large building and estate.
- Able to demonstrate a understanding of building operations and statutory obligations.
- Able to demonstrate a understanding of health and safety regulations.
- Have a collaborative working style and strong leadership qualities to ensure that people follow your lead/ and buy into your vision
- Have a bright, clear and calm communication style
- Be organised with a methodical approach to tasks
- Be able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Ability to keep sensitive information highly confidential at all times.
- Can build strong relationships with clients (owners/funders of the property) and can manage the client on day-to-day items
- Strong awareness and skill set on budget writing and delivery
- Manage monthly expenditure and P&L and actively ensure that the site operates within budget
- Drive occupancy and other rental/income growth opportunities
