Right now, we’re on a quest to find an exceptional Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team at Ducie Street Warehouse.
You will be key to maintaining the outstanding level of service within the kitchen department and demonstrating our philosophy of great style, great food and great value.
Every day is different. You will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presentation of dishes within your speciality, managing and training any commis chef’s working with you, and assisting with the development of new dishes and menus. You will understand the nature of the business requires a flexible schedule, which includes shifts during evenings, weekends and public holidays.
If you want to be our next Native, you’ll probably have:
- Competent in managing cost controls within the kitchen to ensure budgets are met.
- Experience in training and developing team members.
- A passion for amazing food; constantly trying, tasting and creating new menu dishes.
- A love for the buzz in the kitchen during service and pride in the food you prepare and deliver.
- A full understanding of health and safety regulations.
- A bright, clear and calm communication style.
